It Is Time For Consecration
As this new year begins and we look to the Lord to seek His will we sense that this year will prove to be a very significant and eventful one. We are increasingly in very serious times. It is essential, therefore, that we not only hear the Lord but examine ourselves, for we truly need to be changed.

No Place For Law
"Therefore, leaving the elementary teaching about Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith towards God." (Heb.6:1)
Below are audio messages spoken as this year began. These speak of how the law is a blockage to us seeking to walk by the Spirit. In opposition to the necessary walk of faith is the law, in the form of any works of the flesh - dead works. These messages identify the 'law' as a thing we have to be rid of so we can walk in the Spirit. The definition of 'law' is wide, embracing all works of the flesh. The works of mankind have never been able to bring righteousness. The Law (Torah), instituted by God, could not be kept and required sacrifices to deal with the failures, and so proved only to be a tutor to bring us to Christ. Within that which goes by the name of 'Church' there has been a continued imposition of 'laws' made up of men's decrees, not God's, and a replication of the Old Covenant priesthood that was made obsolete. Thus the reality of being in Christ still eludes many.
With these timely messages the question of Israel is also addressed briefly, with particular reference to Romans 9 & 10. To rightly understand the place of natural Israel as Paul explains in Romans 11 we need to understand the correct place of natural Israel. (See 'Church Questions' and the sub section "Considering Natural Israel') We squeeze Millennial realities into this age to our peril.
